Laura Shepard is a Luxury Travel Concierge and Stylist based in New York. Before launching her business, she worked in the luxury fashion industry for over a decade, including roles at Shopbop and Net-A-Porter. Long before launching her business, Laura’s experience living in Paris, travels around the world, and postings from her personal adventures positioned her as a go-to resource for those in her network looking to get the inside scoop on cool new destinations, restaurants, wellness spas, and more. With her high standards and love of research and curation, Laura will plan your next trip like it was her own.  

Favorite Destination and Why: France for all it has to offer. There’s nothing like the magic of Paris — from the art and architecture, to the wine and shopping. My favorite way to experience Paris is via walks along the Seine, picnics in Luxembourg gardens, and people watching from a cozy bistro. Beyond Paris, France has something for everyone with the stunning beaches of the Côte d'Azur, many wine regions, and Provence for a dose of slow living. Scandinavia is also a new favorite—I visited Copenhagen and Stockholm last year and was enamored with the hygge lifestyle. Norway is on my list to explore next. 

Areas of Specialty: Luxury and leisure, multi-destination, girls’ trips, solo travel, wine-centered excursions. I also offer styling services to curate your perfect vacation wardrobe for your destination. 

My Travel Style Is: Intentionally planned while leaving space for spontaneity. I ensure key reservations are made in advance, but I also love exploring a destination through long walks where I often discover spots I hadn’t originally planned to check out. I aim for authentic experiences that make you feel like you’re a local, from checking out the buzziest new restaurants to finding hole-in-the-wall spots. I also make a point to research the “must-buy” local souvenirs so I have mementos to bring home.

I’m an avid reader and enjoy swapping book recommendations, especially ahead of a trip
