Born & raised in Michigan, I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with an emphasis in Meeting & Event Management and a minor in Business. I started my career in the events and hotel industry working in Detroit, Washington D.C., and then New York City. After a trip to Italy, I met my husband, who is a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force (as well as a pilot for a commercial airline now). Shortly after, I quit my job in NYC, moved to Italy, and got married. Since then, we’ve lived in South Korea, Las Vegas, and now reside in New Jersey. In addition to planning travel and events, I have my personal training and group fitness certifications, and will be getting my yoga teacher training certification soon!

Favorite Destination and Why: Italy and South Korea both hold a special place in my heart. I’ve lived in both destinations and traveled extensively around Europe and Asia. Thailand is also a favorite!

My Travel Style Is: Very detailed day-by-day itinerary with some time set aside to wander. Must have time for something healthy and active each day!

Fun Facts About Me: 

I met my husband in Italy, he proposed to me a year later in Paris, and we got married 2 weeks after that at a courthouse in a small town in Italy by the mayor of the town. (Our marriage certificate is also all in Italian!)

I’ve moved 18 times and lived in Italy and South Korea (among many places in the U.S. – NYC is my favorite!)

I’m married to a ‘Top Gun’ fighter pilot. (He’s the real-life Maverick!)
