After backpacking across Europe while in college, I embarked upon my first international vacation as a working girl. I stayed at the Ritz Madrid in my mid-20’s and experienced heated towel bars. I knew right then and there I could never return to the backpacker lifestyle; lux travel life was for me. I live in a mountain town so my family and I can enjoy all our free time outdoors. But we live close to an international airport, so we can skip town every long weekend to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and buzz of the big cities.

Favorite Destination and Why: My favorite destination hands down would be Costa Rica. I fell in love with the country while on my honeymoon. We were totally active with exciting excursions all morning followed by relaxation at the pool bar in the afternoon. Fast forward 13 years and that same vacation became the most memorable family adventure we have had to date. My kids said “this was the best day ever” every single night at dinner, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. On the ride to Liberia airport my kids requested a vacation like that at least once a year. Hell yeah!!!! There is nothing better than planning your next trip before you even arrive home.

Areas of Specialty: Family Travel, Honeymoons, Girls’ weekend getaways. Any vacation requiring me to research all of the “can’t miss” restaurants! 

My Travel Style Is: A detail-oriented itinerary with activities and restaurants reserved and downtime scheduled. I always leave some room in an itinerary to experience something I learned about from the locals.

Fun Facts About Me: 

I love preparing several-course meals for my family many nights a week.

I have been my kids’ coach for soccer and baseball numerous times.

I started a lunch cooking club in my town.

I can’t remember the last time my nails didn’t have polish on them.
