Advisor Bio
Stephanie has spent her career in rooms that demanded precision and seamless execution - deployed as an intelligence officer, assessing alternative funds as a Goldman Sachs associate, and leading operations as a Silicon Valley executive - now paired with the most humbling complexity of all: negotiating family life with two toddlers as they adventure across new continents. At the center of it all is a single question: what does it mean to travel well in a way that stays with you? That question became Alta Aurea, a bespoke luxury travel advisory built on threshold travel - the belief that the most transformative journeys happen just beyond what feels familiar, where something in you quietly, permanently shifts. Her clients - founders, executives, investors, and accomplished families operating at the highest level - seek travel that leaves a lasting imprint, whether strengthening bonds, marking milestones, or navigating complex family journeys across generations. The relationship begins with deep listening - how you think, where you’ve been, and what you’re ultimately seeking, even if you haven’t yet named it. Drawing on firsthand experience across nearly 100 countries, she designs and manages every detail into deeply personal, invisibly executed journeys that function as carefully constructed systems across a full experiential arc - balancing logistics, emotion, and complexity - with access to exceptional properties and partners worldwide. What results is not just a trip, but a portfolio — each journey informed by the last.
Favorite Destination
Impossible to pick just one. I’m drawn to places steeped in layered history - ancient civilizations at their peak - and to wilderness so remote it recalibrates everything. Riding camels into the Sahara at dusk, spinning prayer wheels on a solo trek toward Everest, spotting pink pygmy seahorses on a drift dive in the Red Sea, or raising a glass of champagne after a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia - these are the moments I return to again and again.
Areas of Speciality
Bespoke expedition travel - private safari, liveaboard diving, high-altitude mountaineering, crewed sailing - alongside immersive spiritual and wellness journeys for those who hold both adventure and luxury to the highest standard.
My Travel Style
I travel with at least one anchor - a festival, a property I’ve been coveting, or an experience I’ve been building toward. The rest is structure held lightly - UNESCO sites, impeccably crafted cocktails, and enough space for the unexpected to unfold on its own timeline. The moments that stay with you are rarely the ones you planned, but the ones you were present enough to receive.
Fun Facts
I’m a PADI Divemaster. I’ve spent over a cumulative month in silent meditation retreats. I’ve also been to Burning Man four times, between Black Rock City and the Negev Desert, where I’ve danced until dawn and realized time was never quite as fixed as it seemed.
Languages
English. Once genuinely conversational in Arabic, French, and Spanish - currently a work in progress as my husband and I relearn Hebrew with our kids.
